It's always exciting when a new garment comes into work & literally has my name all over it. I usually think about a purchase for a week or two (my method to stop myself from impulse buying) but then something comes along & I just know it needs to be in my life. This bangin Minkpink In Your Dreams Kimono was just that! I find that I struggle with my personal style a lot, some days I find it hard to put an outfit together whereas some days it will just come to me, as did this one. I feel like myself in this outfit, it contains a couple of different style elements but I feel like its just right for my style at this moment in time.

I finally got a pair of One Teaspoon Awesome Baggies! I've had my eyes on these jeans for months, I've been watching them come out in different shades just waiting for the right one & I finally found it! This shade of denim always draws me in, it feels more boyish & I find it easier to style then the lighter shades.  I finally got a few new staples to add to my closet as well after not purchasing much for a couple of months, I feel like me again in this outfit & it's been a while since I've felt this way. I think I've gotten to comfortable, maybe more so lazy with my day to day outfits. But I finally have another outfit to be proud of :)

One Teaspoon Awesome Baggies from Dissh

My work style can be a bit repetitive at times, I try to wear what's in store at the moment but there isn't a wide range that appeals to my day to day style, hence why most of these outfits feature the same garment. Every once in a while though, an item comes into stock and I just have to have it, the feeling of finding something new is so invigorating and exiting. I think working with clothing is just something I'm meant to do :)

Finally a new (proper) blog post. I got this new skirt from work yesterday and it's amazing, I've finally bought something that isn't high waisted (everything looks better on me high waisted) but as soon as I saw it come out of the box at work it was love. I've always been attracted to anything leather, it's got such a boyish feel, so rebellious in itself. I've also finally gotten the hang of wearing white! I bought my first white garment 3 weeks ago and it's literally like wearing a breath of fresh air! I have always shied away from white as I've thought it didn't sit right on my skin tone or was too vibrant for my constant solum mood. But now that I've finally manned up and worn white, I'm obsessed! Black and white is my driving force at the moment, everything feels so much more refreshing and I'm feeling like I'm moving forward with my everyday style. Moving out of my comfort zone, which is what every body needs every once in a while.

In a B&W Daze

It started with my first white t-shirt, now it's turned into a tiny obsession! I never really wore white, it never appealed to me but now that I've accumulated a few items it's quite refreshing! This denim jacket is pretty much the warmest item of clothing I own, I never really invest in winter items, I'm unsure as to why cause I always seem to freeze in the mornings! I love the simplicity of this Minkpink B&W tee it has a dressy feel but can be worn casually & the faux leather detailing is an added bonus, it's pretty much the perfect top but it does however stick to me & make my hair go all static which can be a bit frustrating!
